John Cho: Asian Movie Superstar With A Great Sense Of Humor


John Cho is an Korean-American actor who is best known for his roles in movies like American Pie, Harold & Kumar, and the latest Star Trek. He is a true shining light in the Hollywood movie scene and has brought plenty of laughs from his fans. John Cho was actually born in Seoul, South Korea but he was raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended University of California, Berkeley, a prestigious public school in the United States. He graduated with a BA degree in English and he taught English at a high school before starting his acting career.

Before his acting career began, he was a print model for various Korean Magazines. One of his earliest appearances came from an ad for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. The first acting company he worked for was the Asian American theater company. He first gained recognition from fans when he starred in popular comedy movie, American pie. He was well known for popularizing the slang term “MILF”. However, his biggest movies to date are the Harold & Kumar series.

So what movies has he appeared in so far? One of John Cho’s greatest quality is his dry sense of humor. This is what makes him successful in the movie industry when it is really hard to compete against other great actors. Its not that big of a surprise that he landed big roles in movies like Harold and Kumar, and TV series like How I met your mother.

It would not be a big surprise if he received a huge reception in Asia. John Cho is a very popular actor. He is married to a Japanese actress called Kerri Huguchi. She has appeared in TV shows like the Grey’s Anatomy.
