John Cho: A Shining Light In Hollywood


John Cho is an Korean-American actor who is best known for his roles in movies like American Pie, Harold & Kumar, and the latest Star Trek. He is a true shining light in the Hollywood movie scene and has brought plenty of laughs from his fans. John Cho was actually born in Seoul, South Korea but he was raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended University of California, Berkeley, a prestigious public school in the United States. He graduated with a BA degree in English and he taught English at a high school before starting his acting career.

John Cho also became a model for various Korean Magazines. One of his earliest model appearances came from an advertisement for Enterprise Rent-a-car. The first official acting company he was involved in was a company called Asian American Theater. He first gained much attention in his starring role in American Pie. He was best known for making the term “MILF” popular among the American Youth. His biggest role however was in the movie series: Harodl and Kumar.

So what movies has he appeared in so far? Here is a list of some of the more recognizable movie titles: Tomorrow never dies, Shopping for Fangs, Charmed, American Beauty, Bowfinger, American Pie, The Flintstones, American Pie 2, Evolution, Off Centre, Down to Earth, Better Luck Tomorrow, Big Fat Liar, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, How I met your mother, Ugly Betty, Star Trek, and many more.

John Cho is known for his dry sense of humor and this is one of the main reasons why he is a successful figure in the movie industry today. It is not a surprise that he has appeared in movies like Harold and Kumar, and TV series like How I met your mother.

As he is such a popular figure, it would not be a big surprise if he received a huge reception in his home country, South Korea. He is currently married to an actress called Kerri Higuchi who has appeared in dramas like the Grey’s Anatomy.
