He agrees but in return asks Ginger to save him when the circus people will come looking for him.

He asks Ginger to protect and save him when the circus party arrives at the farm looking for him. Ginger agrees but asks for a return favor. Rocky should teach Ginger and her friends how to fly so that they can fly away to freedom. Rocky agrees and teaches to fly but in the process leaves no stone unturned to totally irritate them especially Ginger and organizer Officer Fowler. On the other hand, the owner of the farm, Tweety’s purchased a machine to make chicken pies and intend to cook all the chickens of the farm. But were Ginger and her friends’ fortunate enough to fly away from the farm? Did she escape or she too became one of those ‘chicken pies’? The Chicken Run movie is a real classy entertainer. It is a real family entertainer and should be enjoyed by all in the family. There is a healthy mix of humor and intellectual parodies that lifts the flick above all the other animation movies produced in the decade. But we were in for a rude shock.

Halle Berry plays the role of Patience Philips who is murdered after she hears the evil plans of he boss in the cosmetics company. The company had plans to launch a cream that will force womenfolk to use it regularly. If they refrain from using it, the repercussions will be very bad. However, Patience Philips comes back to life with the help of an ancient cat which belongs to the Egyptian Pharaohs.

With her new found feline abilities, Patience begins her quest to exact revenge on the company boss which is played by the beautiful Sharon Stone. Sharon Stone’s acting is deplorable to say the least. The fact the she does not shed clothes in this film only adds to the woes of the audience. One of the major sore points of the film is the laughable costume worn by Halle Berry. Her funny costume does not evoke any positive response from the viewers at all. The CGI graphics which shows the Catwoman sliding down the buildings looks more like a videogame scene and it is surprising that ‘Pitof’ allowed such scenes in the final cut. This was not expected from someone who himself was visual effects specialist.

The Catwoman movie has no real entertainment value. The film is definitely a low budget production from the stables of the Warner Bros. Probably they hoped that people will flock to the cinema halls to catch a glimpse of Halle Berry and the production company will make money in the process.

The scriptwriter of the Catwoman movie should be sent to the gallows for even thinking of writing this one. However, the film does become watchable whenever Benjamin Bratt enters the scene. The powers exhibited by the Catwoman are probably the worst of all. It fails to incite any awe or excitement from the viewers. The main fault in the film lies with the storyline. The whole action revolves around some beauty products. This is totally unthinkable. To top it all the action scenes in the film are very appalling to say the least. This is probably the most pathetic movie of 2004. It’s hard to believe that this is the same year which gave us a movie called Torque. There are films which are worse than this and there would be many which would be as lousy as this film but the manner in which Warner Bros ahs promoted this sick movie has really surprised us all.

In terms of performance the less said the better. Halle Berry is bad and laughable. She is not the same academy award winning actress of Monsters Ball. Sharon Stone, on the other hand, is simply disgusting and you get a feeling that compared to her Dolph Lundgren is a far better actor. This is unbelievable but true. The only saving grace in the film is the acting of Benjamin Bratt and Alex Borstein.

There is no point in wasting time to watch this movie at a theater. I don’t recommend renting a DVD either. I suggest that you watch Catwoman online free and enjoy it if you can.

Watchmen directed by Zack Snyder is set in alternative 1985 – a time in which the world is nearing a nuclear war. There is also a plot to eliminate a group of ex-crime fighters. But the question arises – why? Two of the ex-crime fighters take it upon themselves to find out the cause and do the remedial action. After 300 Zack seems to have another winner in hand. The visuals are simply great and he has successfully adapted the book into the film without any hitch.

Zack gets kudos for this film as he had the courage to adapt a very difficult novel into a film. 300 proved that he is a competent director and with ‘Watchmen’ he will rank among the very best. He has tried his level best to remain as close to the book as possible except for the ending. But then you can really expect a director to make a page by page rendition of a novel. Even Spielberg will fail to do that. The movie has a good depth which die-hard movie goers will simply relate to.

Trust Pierre Morrel to deliver an action thriller that will leave you speechless for the duration of the movie. He does just that. The film is very tense and action filled right from the start. Pierre manages to bring out a superlative performance from all the actors including seasoned actors like Liam Neeson.

A divorced ex – CIA operative named Bryan Mills is over protective about her daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). Though he initially refused but ultimately gives in and signs the consent form to allow her daughter to travel to Paris with her friend Amanda. So she arrives in Paris with her friend but is abducted from the apartment where they are staying by a group of unknown young men. Before she gets nabbed she just had the time to give a brief description of the abductors to her father over the cell phone.

The Taken movie moves into top gear after this and the highlight of the movie is perhaps the conversation between Bryan and one of the kidnappers. Bryan gives a clear warning to the person and told him that he will get killed if his daughter is not returned by him. “I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you”

Just after this the pace of the movie changes and we see high voltage action from now on. Bryan is able to follow leads and pin down one guy after another and comes menacingly close to the main culprits. The desperation of a father is clearly shown as Liam threatens one of the bad guys over the phone in clear terms “I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you”.

Bryan moves into Paris and starts looking for his daughter and what follows are world class action scenes and some superb editing. The guy who has done the editing for this film should be given a special award for this film. Some scenes of the movie will remind you of the Bourne movies and the Arnold Schwarzenegger starred Commando. But this a much better film than these two.

The film showcases some real good performances from all the actors. One of the better performances comes from Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace. Liam Neeson as a desperate father gives a brilliant performance and this role is quite different from the kind of roles he has essayed before. Maggie Grace is convincing as her daughter but has very little to do in a film which is action oriented.

The film should appeal to even those who are not big fans of action thrillers. In fact you should watch the movie for Liam Neeson alone. There is absolutely nothing in the movie that can be termed as unnecessary or overdone. The romance between Julia Stiles and Matt Damon is always hinted but never shown at an extreme point. There are no overt sexual scenes to titillate the audience. The film holds its own through a powerful storyline and stellar performances.

The car chase scenes are the highlights of this movie. After a long time we see a film which is so sleek in production. People will not be bored in watching the action sequences as there is a feeling of something new in these scenes.

The two major disappoints in the movie would be the shortened role for Julia Stiles and Clive Owen. The former has nothing to do in the film while Clive has only a couple of good scenes.

MTV Films and DreamWorks joined hands to release Blades of Glory in the year 2007. It was written by Jeff Cox, Craig Cox and Busy Philips and produced by Ben stiller, Stuart cornfield and john Jacobs. The movie begins with the tie between two ice skaters for the gold medal at the world winter sports games. The character of Michael is an expert skater though has a sex addiction and McElroy is kind of effeminate. The duo end up in a fight by arguing and hence are banned and disqualified from the game. This event causes McElroy’s father disinheriting him and he is thrown into the streets.

The movie then shows the status of two men after few years. Jimmy works in a winter sports product store and gets relegated for tying up a kid’s skates boot lace tightly and Chazz works at a children’s skate show. He is fired as he is found drunk on stage. Hector a stalker tells jimmy about a pair skating competition and the ways to get into it though he is banned. Jimmy who is convinced approaches his guide Robert. He then searches for a partner only to find Chazz. Both being reluctant, Robert convinces them and they decide to participate as same sex pair skaters.

The duo of jimmy and Chazz are kept an eye on by Katie caste by Jenna Fischer who happens to be the younger sister of a brother and sister pair, Stranz and Fairchild done by Will Arnett and Amy Poehler respectively. The brother and sister duo are believed to be threat to other pairs, have a fear of the new duo, who are highly skilled. Katie though spies them at first starts falling in love with jimmy later.

Chazz and jimmy get a strong bonding and travel through till the U.S Figure skating championships. This helps them with a chance of participating in the winter sports games again. Robert their coach announces them that they can get to win only by mastering a technique called iron lotus invented by him. He also adds on that the technique has not been performed since a partner ended up beheading his pair with the blades of his skates while performing in North Korea.

Ruben Studdard will stand at the fifth position. This cheerful and exciting winner of the second edition needs accolades from all of us because of his extreme talents. The sixth rank would go to the winner of the sixth edition i.e. Jordin Sparks. The next American Idol according to me is Fantasio Barrino, the season three winner and finally Taylor Hicks, the season five winner.

The original Friday the 13th was a runaway hit. So when the trailers of the new version hit the screens people were already curious. The fans of blood and gore had some real high expectations. They wanted to be satisfied on three counts – heart stopping suspense, loads of love making scenes between the young couples and some real gross death scenes. I daresay the new version has passed in all the three tests.

The film then focuses on present day wherein we see a bunch of youngsters hiking through the woods in search of marijuana plants.

The rest of the story is pretty much predictable with Jason killing the campers one by one by chasing them or ambushing them. One of the girls in the team has a brother named Clay Miller who after for six weeks decides to look for her sister. The brother goes to Crystal Lake in search of her sister and meets a group of young college kids there who are there to spend the weekend in a cabin by the lake.

The Friday the 13th series is very simple and you need not tax your brains to understand the story. You will see a lot of groups going to the woods to have a good time but losing their precious lives in the bargain. This is all thanks to a hockey mask wearing killer lurking in the woods in the name of Jason. Apart from the usual machete, he resorts to number of weapons like bear traps, bow and arrow, ice pick, axe et al. Don’t expect a brilliant storyline or any exceptional acting when you go to watch this film.

The film will be a huge hit with teenagers as it has a good deal of violence, sex scenes and chases. But these are all what makes a good bloody horror film. Performances of the leads are pretty ordinary throughout except perhaps Jared Padalecki who plays the brother’s part.
